Well, this can be for you, which is a course also, you may like to join, well a course in a kind of daily class for a period of 40 days as that is the number which is called sadhana when something in you changes, overtakes your old habit which no longer serves you or says step towards freedom, because freedom means to be free from everything within, it means to be empty – emptiness is freedom. So, do you seek to be free, if so join me for the 40-day sadhana, the root word sadhan- which means techniques, ways, methods.
These are methods/techniques to play with, which will help you celebrate the moments as you explore within yourselves. Unique and simple these methods will help you get insight into the original nature of your being as they are created as a synthesis between Eastern meditative approaches and Western psychological techniques.
All efforts to take you beyond your mind, so that with each effort dropping, the meditation happens on its own – you are meditative 24*7. So, are you ready for an adventure, on a roller coaster, on a tightrope walk to not only find balance but be it?
So, only after all efforts drop and all techniques become useless do we become meditators and see that far way for now, “here-and-now”, is simply here and now.
The first thing is to know what meditation is. Everything else follows. I nor anyone can say to you that you should do meditation, I can only explain to you what it is. If you understand, you will be in meditation; there is no should to it. Meditation is a state of no mind. Meditation is a state of pure consciousness with no content, as ordinarily most of our consciousness is full of rubbish, like a mirror covered with dust. The mind is a constant traffic: thoughts are moving, desires are moving, memories are moving, ambitions are moving – day in, day out. Even when we are asleep the mind is functioning, it is dreaming, and it is still in worries and anxieties, preparing for the next day; an underground preparation. This is the state of no meditation, and the opposite is meditation with no traffic and thinking has ceased, no thoughts move,
no desire stirs, we are utterly silent – that silence is meditation. Meditation is the awareness that I am not the mind, when this awareness goes deeper and deeper in you, slowly slowly, a few moments will start to arrive- the moments of silence, moments of pure space, moments of transparency, moments when nothing stirs in you, everything still. In stillness, in those moments, we find ourselves, we know ourselves and you will know the mystery of this existence.
Finding ourselves is to regain, that space once more. We all have known it, as when you for the first time, know meditation, or say meditation happened, you will feel a bit surprised, as the feeling of known arises. It is all about coming home. It is like that diamond lost in piles of rubbish, you uncover it find the diamond- you find yourself. All that is needed is to regain that space once more. It was never lost, only forgotten, because we are all born as meditators but the real nature gets hidden like an undercurrent, when we start thinking, we are the mind or say the mind is mine. A little digging with the techniques, ways, and the source flowing will be found. The greatest joy in life is to find it, to find your true self, is it not?
योगी युञ्जीत सततमात्मानं रहसि स्थितः ।एकाकी यतचित्तात्मा निराशीरपरिग्रहः ॥ Bhagvad Geeta 6.10 ॥Meditation is not concentration, as in concentration there is a self concentrating and there is an object being concentrated upon. There is duality. But in meditation, there is no duality as there is nobody inside and nothing outside. Concentration is an act, a willed act whereas meditation is a state of no will, a state of inaction, a state of relaxation. It is we have simply dropped into our being, and that being is the same as the being of all.
Finding the right technique, method - Meditation should not be a forced effort. If it is forced, it is
doomed from the very beginning. A forced thing will never make you natural. There is no need to create unnecessary conflict. This has to be understood because the mind has a natural capacity to meditate if you
give it objects that are appealing to it.
Meditation is a medicine. It is the only medicine. So forget about your problems, simply move into meditation.
